Hooky Players in the Community
Over the past few weeks, we have organised 3 events with a charitable aim - the first night of Amdram is Murder was to raise money for Katharine House Hospice; the Remembrance Sunday performances for the War Memorial Hall Trust and the British Legion Poppy Appeal; and the Quiz, again, for the Hall Trust. At the end of the quiz night, it was our pleasure to present Steve Lloyd, representing the British Legion, with a cheque for £175 and Derek Brotherston, representing the War Memorial Hall Trust, with a cheque for £857. Unfortunately, KHH could not be present, and a donation of £750 will be forwarded in the coming days. So a total of £1772 in all - and thanks to everyone who supported one or more of these events.
